Who we are
Our services include home care and residential aged care, affordable housing and veteran support. As a not-for-profit organisation, we welcome all community members. We re-invest our revenue in our people, equipment, and accommodation. We embrace evidence-based advances in care while remaining true to our legacy of supporting veterans and their families.
Our staff take pride in delivering care and services that are responsive to each person’s unique needs – support that celebrates the significant contribution each person has made and enables them to live with purpose, confidence and community, every day.

Our Legacy
Vasey RSL Care was formed in 2004, following the merger of Vasey Housing (Victoria) and RSL Care (Victoria).
Vasey RSL Care has a proud tradition of supporting veterans and war widows, through our current and founding organisations, for more than a century.
RSL Care was founded at the end of WWI to provide accommodation and support to veterans.
Vasey Housing was founded by Mrs Jessie Mary Vasey at the end of WWII to support the many young women widowed by the war.
We offer our home and residential aged care services to the whole Australian community, honouring the RSL ethos of ‘accepting all people in need’.
We continue our tradition by also offering a variety of specific services that respond to the changing needs of the veteran community.
We have long-standing, collaborative relationships with many ex-service organisations providing care, support and services to veterans and war widows.
We are proud to continue the Legacy of Mrs Vasey and the RSL.
