What it’s like working here

We value and recognise the unique contribution of each member of our workforce, who consistently deliver high quality, compassionate and personalised care.

That’s why we focus on creating an inclusive, supportive culture and help our team members build the careers they want.

Our commitment to employing veterans

Supporting ex-service men and women (military veterans) is at the core of the work we do. Vasey RSL Care carries this mission into its employment practices as well.

We understand the needs of veterans and create a supportive environment for the ex-service community members in our team.

Our ex-service staff bring their lived experience and knowledge to their roles and share it with other team members. This is highly beneficial in broadening our organisation’s understanding of what it means to serve and what that might mean for those in our care.

If you are a veteran or a veteran’s family member who is looking for a role that benefits from your lived experience, please review our advertised roles or reach out to us at recruitment@vaseyrslcare.org.au.

Vasey RSL Care has signed the Veterans’ Employment Commitment to demonstrate our support for employing ex-service men and women.

General Manager
Veteran Services

“Vasey RSL Care is a very supportive work environment that ‘Serves Those Who Served’ – it gives me a lot of job satisfaction working here and seeing that the organisation honours and respects veterans of all ages – whether it’s younger veterans coming into our ex-service accommodation, or older veterans needing home care or residential care. For me, it’s also an opportunity to use the skills I gained in the Army and put them to good use.

“If you’re a veteran and looking for rewarding employment, this is a great place to work – I recommend it.”
