Tour de V Centre 2025

A 460km Regional Bike Ride Supporting Homeless Military Veterans, September/October 2025

Approx number of homeless veterans in Australia
New homeless veterans every year in Australia
Average number of veteran suicides every year

Goals of the Tour de V Centre

The Tour de V Centre will:

  1. Shine a spotlight on the unacceptable statistics relating to veterans:
    – Homelessness is nearly three times higher for veterans than the general public.
    – Suicide rates are double the rate of the general public for male veterans and even higher for female veterans.
  2. Showcase the unique V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program: a program that combines a safe place to live with individually-tailored support, enabling each veteran to overcome their challenges and work to address the causes of their homelessness.
  3. Build/Strengthen Relationships
Bring the community together, foster collaboration and generate strong bonds between regional and urban Victoria to support veterans in need.
