Aged Care Employee Day has become an important date on our calendar since its introduction in 2018.

Everyone who works in aged care deserves to be appreciated and acknowledged for their care for older people every day of the year of course – today is the day we focus on aged care staff and recognise the care and support they offer to our aged care residents and home care clients and their families.

As Janna Voloshin, our CEO, said in her message to staff today:

“We often talk about the trust that families place in us and I want you to know just how meaningful that trust is. Families trust you with the care of their loved ones – and that is no small thing.”
