Dear Team and Valued Stakeholders
Last year, we proudly marked 20 years since Vasey RSL Care was founded. Over the past two decades, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of different generations of veterans, always guided by our purpose: Serving Those Who Served.
Back in 2004 our focus was on providing aged care and independent living for World War II veterans and war widows. As time passed, we responded to the needs of Korean and Vietnam veterans and their families; more recently, we have adapted again, expanding our services to support younger veterans from more recent conflicts.
Today we stand as a trusted and leading provider in the veteran space with a strong reputation in aged care, housing, and support services. Our strength lies in evidence-based planning, continually assessing demographic shifts and emerging needs and ensuring our services hit the mark now and continue to adapt as we move into the future.
With this in mind, I am excited to officially launch Vasey RSL Care’s Strategic Plan 2025-2030—a plan that builds on our legacy and sets out our goals for next five years. Our four strategic priorities will guide us:
1 Veteran Transitions – Supporting veterans and their families through key life changes.
2 Inclusive Living – Creating welcoming, contemporary living environments.
3 Growing Our Impact – Expanding services into areas where veterans choose to live.
4 Support at Home – Ensuring veterans can access high-quality care while living independently.
We are proud to have successfully delivered almost all objectives from our 2021-25 Strategic Plan. With this significant progress under our belts, and with the expertise of our Board of Directors—including three veteran members from different generations—we are well positioned for our next stage. Our commitment is clear: we will be here in 5, 10, 25, 50, 100+ years, providing the care, housing and support that veterans and their families need.
