Our message to you today is ‘Thank you’.

It’s a small word, but it has a huge meaning.

As we celebrate Aged Care Employee Day today, on behalf of our Board, Management, residents, participants and tenants, thank you.

Thank you for your compassion…

…for your dedication…

…for your professionalism.

Thank you today, and thank you every other day (and night) of the year.

In supporting our veterans, war widows and widowers, partners, family members, the broader community of older Australians, and one another, each of you is part of the ‘whole’ that is Vasey RSL Care.

For all those we serve, their interactions with you make up a vital part of their experience of care and support: a sympathetic smile, a word of encouragement, a gentle pat on the shoulder – small actions that make a big difference to that person. Creating a welcoming, caring environment, bringing skills and commitment, these are the things that are meaningful, ensuring these men and women know they are supported, valued, and respected.

You have our heartfelt gratitude for everything you do.
