Sunday 12 to Thursday 16 October 2025

Starting at Warrnambool and taking in Ararat, Ballarat and Geelong before arriving at Box Hill, the Tour de V Centre will promote awareness of veteran homelessness and its causes, and highlight the innovative V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program which is already changing lives for the better.

“We’re looking forward to meeting people along the way and getting together to talk about supporting veterans who are struggling,” says Chris Gray, Executive General Manager, Veteran Services.

Veteran homelessness is nearly three times higher than the general population and suicide rates are way higher than equivalent aged groups in Australia.

“Working together we can do so much more than individually – we are partnering with organisations like ours that care about veteran welfare and refuse to accept these statistics,” says Chris.

The Tour begins with a Launch Event at 3pm at SW TAFE in Warrnambool on Sunday 12 October.

Tour riders will be on the road for four days with a community dinner every evening at the local RSL Sub-Branch.

“We want to see you out there!” says Chris.

“Bring all your friends and neighbours along too. These will be great evenings with fabulous speakers, good food and an opportunity to build stronger relationships across the veteran community, so we can help those who need it.”
