Vasey RSL Care came into being in 2004 when Vasey Housing Victoria and RSL Care Victoria merged. Homes and Independent Living Units (ILUs) from both these highly regarded organisations became part of the new combined organisation.
Until now there has been no change to the names of our services and our homes – ANZAC Hostel, RSL Park, Sir William Hall Hostel, Vasey Brighton East and Vasey House.
However, sometimes even our own clients or consumers don’t realise that we have other services available.
Now it is time to bring all our services together under one name – our residential aged care homes, our ILU villages, our Home Care service and our Senior Wellbeing program at the ANZAC Day Therapy Centre.
It is important that we make it easy for our community and potential community members to be aware of all the services we offer, so that we can provide senior Victorians with the best possible care and support as their needs change.
What is changing?
These changes will be taking place over the several months with stationery, uniforms, brochures etc, being updated as stocks run out so there is no additional cost to the organisation resulting from the changes.
“Everything else will stay the same,” says Janna Voloshin, CEO. “We will continue to care for you and/or your loved ones as we always have. We are conscious that change can be difficult, but I hope you will soon see the benefits of these changes to our whole community.”
