Janna with Major Sponsors
Staff, Board members, special guests and sponsors gathered at Fenix Restaurant on 24 November to hear staff presentations highlighting Vasey RSL Care’s innovations, excellence in clinical practice focusing on resident- and client-centred care, and the commemoration of the Centenary of the Gallipoli campaign.
and the journey of six veterans and their personal carers to Canberra to attend the Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial.
Keynote speaker, Emma Gee delivered a powerful message of what client-centred care means to the care recipient, inspiring the audience with her personal story of resilience and strength.
The theme of purpose was reinforced by Vasey RSL Care’s CEO, Janna Voloshin, who laid out the stepping stones of her career path from first arriving in Australia to today.
Psychologist Leonie Abbott then encouraged the audience to re-think their capabilities using the principles of a “growth mindset”.
