Duke of Edinburgh Shield – RSL Vic bowlers strive for victory

The RSL Victoria bowls teams were very pleased to be able to hold their annual Duke of Edinburgh Shield this year after it was a victim of COVID-19 last year. They managed to get in just before Victoria’s most recent lockdown and chose a glorious autumn weekend in May.
Around 1,400 Victorian RSL Service and Affiliate members representing 84 RSL Sub-branches headed to 14 locations across the state to pit their skills against each other for the 2021 Duke of Edinburgh Shield, sponsored once again by Vasey RSL Care.

- Moe/Trafalgar
Congratulations to overall winners Queenscliff/Point Lonsdale, and to Waverley 1 in second place and Inverloch Gold coming third overall.
