Commemorating the Centenary of ANZAC

Commemoration ceremonies for the Centenary of ANZAC were held at our five residential care facilities and our independent living units. As well as conducting these services, Vasey RSL Care arranged to fly six veterans living at RSL Park, Frankston South, and a team of individual carers to Canberra to attend the Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial, where we joined an estimated crowd of 120,000 people.

This initiative was made possible with the generous support of the RSL Sub-Branches of Seaford, Rosebud, Rye, Frankston and Longbeach, coordinated by the Vietnam Veterans Associations of the Mornington Peninsula. We are also grateful for the major corporate support we received from UBS Wealth Management and Midnight Express Residential Aged Care Cleaning and the in-kind support from Akubra Hats and Piccadilly Circus Coats.
