An Event for Veterans organised by our Veterans

Veterans at Vasey RSL Care Ex-Service Accommodation Cheltenham are planning a Trip to South Gippsland Tank Adventures.
Resident Keith Walsh is organising a Tank Adventure for residents of the Vasey RSL Care Ex-Service Accommodation and is calling for anyone interested to get in touch with him.
South Gippsland Tank Adventures has a total of eleven tanks from World War II to modern day armoured fighting vehicles. They include a Jagdpanzer Kanone, a Saracen APC, a Striker, an MRV M113 and a Centurion.
They are currently restoring a Valentine MK 111/V and M3A1 Stuart Light.
Are you in?
- Ride in an M113 Fire Support Vehicle (shown below)
- Talk and tour of tank collection
- Bus trip there and back
- Barbecue lunch
- Max 10 people – priority will go to residents at Cheltenham village, other Vasey residents, then other RSL members.
Date: TBA
Cost: $100/person (50% on booking and balance 2 days before trip)
Note: unfortunately for access purposes wheelchairs cannot be accommodated.
Other armoured vehicle are also available to have a ride in at an additional cost, eg Centurion Tank cost $500.
