Vasey RSL Care Bundoora (formerly Vasey House)

Vasey RSL Care Bundoora (formerly ‘Vasey House’) is located close to the Mount Cooper Estate in Bundoora, an iconic and peaceful area with buildings of authentic charm.

The home is surrounded by gardens and a number of courtyards bring light and nature into every part of the residence. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and is the perfect setting for residents and families to enjoy time together.

Focus on Residents

The lifestyle staff provide a varied and fun program of activities for those who wish to take part: activities include the regular gardening group, four-legged visitors, men’s group and knitting group as well as trips and outings. Residents have a monthly lunch out with residents from our Ivanhoe home, and there are trips to the surrounding beauty spots and attractions.

Commemorations are held at the home to mark Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day. Staff and volunteers arrange celebrations for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Easter, major birthdays and more. 

We are fortunate to have regular visits from students from local schools who provide energy and fun, enhancing the residents’ day-t0-day life and taking part in commemorations. We have a great relationship with Simpson Barracks and the Greensborough RSL.

Memory Support

Vasey RSL Care Bundoora has a Memory Support Unit offering a high level of care and the latest care practices for individuals living with dementia, and ensuring residents experiencea safe, secure and happy environment.
